Aligning Life and Work - Building a Business That Reflects Your Values
Welcome to The K9PT Academy podcast, the only podcast in veterinary rehabilitation that focuses on helping business owners and entrepreneurs build and scale a profitable and successful canine rehabilitation business!
Last weekend I hosted some of our clients for our last Incubator Mastermind retreat of the year, and during those retreats I always start our first session by sharing a variety of lessons and thoughts on business ownership, which as you can imagine comes from my own experience running a business and the lessons I have learned along this journey. One of the lessons I shared was about the importance of building a business that reflects what we want in life and who we are as individuals and business owners, including our own core values and beliefs. With that being said, given the timing with the holidays I thought it would be a good topic to share with you all on today's podcast episode.
Listen to the full episode as we discuss:
- Why we need to build a business that reflects what we want from it
- What would entail to build that business and the impact it have in our lives
- Why corporations in veterinary medicine are unable to build this style of business and how that impacts the field of canine rehabilitation
- How do I see that impacting our field and how rehabpreneurs can benefit from it
