The Truth About Business Growth

Welcome to The K9PT Academy podcast, the only podcast in veterinary rehabilitation that focuses on helping business owners and entrepreneurs build and scale a profitable and successful canine rehabilitation business!

More often than not, when canine rehab therapists seek my help or advice, they are looking for growth within their business. That growth is usually about revenue because they want to pay themselves more or make canine rehab their full-time thing, or about increasing their caseload and getting their schedule busier (although the growth in caseload is often tied up with them wanting to increase overall revenue). But, although I understand the entrepreneurial drive and the human desire to always want more, we need to ask ourselves: is growth only about increasing our revenue or our caseload?

Listen to the full episode as we discuss:

  • Why we can't fall into the trap of thinking that growth is always about more
  • The importance of finding out what growth means for you, based on what you need from the business and, most importantly, what you want in your life
  • Digging deeper to figure out what the real issue is inside our business so we can have a better a plan as to how to address it
  • Why business growth will never outpace our own personal growth along this journey of entrepreneurship
  • Ask yourself: what does growth means to you over the next 3 months?
